Over 1,024 students across Laois sat their Leaving Cert exams last June, with 65,000 students nationally receiving their results today.
Both staff and students at Dunamase College in Portlaoise are overjoyed with the recently released Leaving Cert Results.

Speaking with the Leinster Express / Laois Live, Principal Dympna Kelly praised students for their hard work and dedication.
“We want to congratulate all our students on their superb Leaving Certificate results and a significant number of them did exceptionally well,” Ms Kelly said.
“We are particularly pleased with the Irish, Biology, Accounting, Business and Maths grades. It is only our third time to have Leaving Certificate results in Dunamase College/Coláiste Dhún Másc and this year we had our largest cohort of students who sat the exam,” the Principal highlighted.

“It’s a day to celebrate each and every one of the students as they have reached this milestone through perseverance, determination and commitment.

Their results are a testament to their hard work and the support and dedication of their teachers, SNAs, parents and guardians,” Ms Kelly praised.
“We look forward to following what they do next whether that’s going to university, apprenticeships or the workplace. Go n-eirí go geal libh agus rath Dé oraibh don todhchaí,” the Principal finished.
