After another closely fought affair, we can finally announce the winner of our Downey's Auto Stop/Leinster Express Sports Star of the Month for May.
With five excellent nominees, it was Erone Fitzpatrick who emerged the winner to get the nod after her brilliant display in the Leinster Ladies minor football final.
Erone edged out Paul Kingston, who came in third, and the St Abban's AC ladies athletics team, which came in third.
