St Patrick's Day celebration plans in Graiguecullen and Killeshin

Two lovely parades ahead in historic parish on Laois Carlow border

The Laois parish of Graiguecullen Killeshin is proudly holding two St Patrick's Day parades for 2025.

Killeshin which is celebrating after winning a €100,000 grant for its community centre, holds its 39th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade this year.

All clubs and organisations and the general public are asked to assemble down at the new School at 9.15am with flags and banners to parade to Mass in Holy Cross church for 10am. 

The parade will include Killeshin NS Choir, community groups, Killeshin Pipe Band and the Holy Cross Solidarity.

The Graiguecullen parade begins in Carlow Town Park.  All participants must assemble inside the grounds of the town park at 10.30am sharp.  The parade will leave the Town Park at 11am and proceed through the streets of Graiguecullen via Colclough Ave, St Clare’s Rd, Pearse Rd, Maher Rd, ’98 Street and Maryborough Street, finishing at St. Clare's Church on the Leighlin Road side arriving for 11.30am Mass in St Clare's.

The parade will include the Combined Parish Choirs, a procession of community groups and the Dargan School of Irish Dance.
