There are still areas of Laois without power this morning after Storm Ashley battered the country on Sunday.
In Mountrath 81 customers are without power with an estimated restoration time of 2pm on Monday afternoon. In Maryborough, Portlaoise there is a fault affecting 30 customers. In Killenard a fault has resulted in 12 homes and businesses without electricity and a further 21 in Portarlington.
Across the country there are currently 16,000 without power due to the high winds associated with Storm Ashley.
The primary areas affected by the power outages are in counties Galway, Mayo and Kerry.
Speaking on RTE's Morning Ireland, ESB Networks manager Brian Tapley said that at the height of the storm, 53,000 customers were without power, but crews managed to restore power to around 37,000 homes and businesses last night.
He said crews were assessing damage this morning, but it was too early to say when power would be fully restored.
Mr Tapley said conditions were still hazardous in some areas, with a lot of debris still lying around.
Meanwhile, Dublin Airport is affected by delays this morning as a result of yesterday's disruption to flights.
