Laois hotel to host fitness challenge for charity

Laois hotel The Heritage is hosting an epic fitness challenge this September all in aid of Anam Cara Parental and Sibling Bereavement Support. 

The Heritage Games will be a hybrox style event with group and individual competitions and prizes on the day. It will take place at The Heritage, Killenard on September 14 at 9am and the entry fee is €15 per person. 

"We're hosting our very own Heritage Games - an epic fitness challenge suitable for all levels! Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking for a fun way to get active, this event is for you," said the organisers. 

"For just €15 per person, you'll get to test your strength, endurance, and teamwork in a friendly and supportive environment. All proceeds raised will go directly to our charity partner of the year - Anam Cara Parental and Sibling Bereavement Support." 

Anam Cara provides support to parents after the death of their son or daughter regardless of the age their child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether this was recent or not. They provide a range of online and face-to-face bereavement services free of charge. Anam Cara provide parents with a safe, comfortable environment where they have the opportunity to connect with other bereaved parents.
