Out standing in their own field: the Rosenallis Festival of the Mountain committee and volunteers launching the Sunday, August 25 event in the festival field.
A big clean up is planned in Rosenallis this week ahead of the return of the Festival of the Mountain and Vintage Rally on Sunday, August 25.
Volunteers are being sought to help get the village in tip top shape with lots of sweeping, weeding, strimming and litter picking to be done.
The group will meet on Friday, August 23 at The Green School at 5.30pm and volunteers are asked to wear gardening gloves and high-vis jackets.
"If you can spare some time on Friday evening to help out we would really appreciate it. The huge improvements made to the village during recent months is as a result of the hard work of our volunteers, thank you for your continued support, it is much appreciated," the organisers said.
Rosenallis Festival of the Mountain runs from noon to 6pm on Sunday, August 25. Entry is €10 per person. Children aged 16 and under go free.
