The late Siobhan Galligan dedicated immense effort to developing the new community centre in Killeshin.
The family and friends of the late Siobhán Galligan are hosting a special Fundraising Afternoon Tea in Killeshin in April in memory of her legacy to the community she worked passionately for right up to her passing in 2024.
Wife of Martin, and much loved mother of Niamh, Emma, Kealan and Evan, Siobhán passed away in July 2024. Apart from being a loving wife and caring mother, she was dedicated to her community and was the Secretary of Killeshin Community Centre for a number of years.
"Siobhán's passion was always to enhance the facilities in the Hall creating a lovely environment and atmosphere for the local people to meet," said the organisers.
From Springhill Killeshin, Siobhan lived to see the opening of the Killeshin Community Centre and Digital Hub Hybrid Workspace in June 2024.
"Her work on the recent Hall renovation was immense," said the organisers.
"We are delighted to be hosting the event in the Hall. The Afternoon Tea is a lovely way to remember Siobhán," said the organisers in a note to the community.
