PROFILE:  Dia Duit! Laois Rose entrant Kellie Wall is full of green energy

The conversation will turn to all things green at the Laois Rose Selection Night this Good Friday, when Ballylinan woman Kellie Wall takes to the stage with Ollie Turner.

Kellie who is sponsored by Going Solar, told the Leinster Express / Laois Live all about herself.

"Dia dhuit, is mise Kellie! I am 22 years old from Ballylinan.

"I work as a technical support manager with Going Solar, where I enjoy helping people make the move to a greener, more sustainable future.

"I am a fluent Irish speaker, with grá ollmhór for the Irish culture and language," she said.

"Outside of work, I love spending time with my Connemara pony Esmee. I also enjoy staying active through walking or running, and catching up with friends or relaxing with my family.

"I am really excited about the upcoming Laois Rose selection experience," Kellie said.

The Laois Rose Selection Night takes place in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise on Friday, April 18. The winner will take part in the televised International Rose of Tralee in Kerry this August.
