Irish Rail have announced that bus transfers will operate from a Laois train station following signalling damage sustained to a line.

Repairs on the Cork/Limerick to Dublin line are taking place, following the signalling damage caused by an ESB fault.

Bus transfers will operate on the Limerick to Ballybrophy via Nenagh line at the following times;

The 09:00 service Ballybrophy to Limerick via Nenagh.

The 17:10 Limerick to Ballybrophy via Nenagh.

The 19:05 Ballybrophy to Limerick via Nenagh.

Ballybrophy train station was recently awarded the 'Age Friendly' status from Age Friendly Ireland.
