Is there no end to the Laois Rose of Tralee's talents?

Katelyn Cummins is doing the county proud since winning the Rose of Tralee recently and now she has proven herself a dab hand at the ultimate Irish tester.

The apprentice Electrician with Alpha Drives in Portlaoise, showed her Irish dance skills on stage at Electric Picnic with the Timahoe Male Choir. She is also a star at the National Ploughing Championships, which she visited many a time as a farmer's daughter.

Katelyn has also been visiting numerous communities across Laois and beyond, with the 2025 Rose receiving warm and hospitable welcomes, including a launch of the Laois Garden Trail website, and a tea dance for the Lovely Laois Homecoming Festival.

But, that hasn't stopped her from taking a well earned break to pull a few pints, dropping into The Village Bar in Clogh recently much to the locals delight.

Katelyn also has a television appearance ahead, she has confirmed.

“I'll be on the Two Johnnies Late Night Lock In at the end of the month and then I'm heading on a few international trips in the next few weeks.”
