Cheque presentations made to Ballyfin groups.
The efforts of the Ballyfin Vintage Club in organising its popular annual vintage rally are helping the local community, thanks to donations made recently.
The Club's 2025 rally took place last May, with the proceeds presented recently by Majella French O'Connor.
A cheque for €500 was presented to St Fintan's Graveyard Committee, while the same amount went to the St John the Baptist Church in Ballyfin.
Pupils and staff were on hand at Ballyfin National School to accept a cheque for €1,000 that will help fund the ongoing education of the next generation of locals.
As the presentations closed the book on the 2025 edition, preparations are underway, and bookings are open for this year's event. MORE BELOW PHOTO.

The club is once again looking forward to seeing everyone again on Sunday, May 24, for what should be another great community day that's likely to draw vintage fans from near and far to the Laois parish.
The organisers say the Rally will include silage cutting, a threshing mill, tug of war, dog show, auto jumble, food stalls, amusements and lots more for all the family to enjoy.
