Mountrath Scouts are hoping local people will support them this Christmas by buying a Christmas tree.
They have made a deal with a local Christmas tree supplier and for every tree sold, he will give a percentage to the troop.
The trees are premium quality Nordmann Fir trees and they have a really lovely shape. The needles are dark green colour, no prickly and non shedding, the scent pure Christmas tree!
Trees are available in sizes from 6ft to 8ft, from €40-€50 to collect from our Scout Den on December 10 and 11. The scouts would really appreciate the public's support by buying your Christmas tree from them this year to support your local Scouts and growers.
Please let the scouts know if you are interested. The scouts have a sale-or-return arrangement so there is no obligation to purchase on the day.
