The end of year achievements night and disco were hosted last Friday night in Timahoe, a great crowd turned up and enjoyed the celebrations, attended by senior national foroige leader Mr Paul Campbell and the current minister for children, Laois man Charlie Flangan. Special guest Padraig Clancy spoke about the importance of club togetherness and the importance of hard work and commitment. The club held a stay awake following the disco and enjoyed themselves.

25 YEARS

Former Timahoe residents and publicans John and Julia Headen celebrated 25 years up the road in Headen’s bar Spink. Julia would like to thank all her customers from Timahoe that have rambled up for a pint over the years.

MEDLEY DAY

Is fixed for June 29 in Timahoe, donkey Derbys, mice races and all the usual medley day fun. Anyone with any interest in the area and wants to get involved are very very welcome, fresh faces are always welcome.

EXAMS

Best of luck to all taking on junior or leaving cert exams in the next few weeks, keep calm and the best of luck.

TIDY TOWNS
