MEDLAY DAY

Medlay day this year is organised for Sunday July 8, the day will be filled with the regular attractions, and music will be provided by local trad group Abbeyfolk. A meeting has been called for this coming Monday May 28 in the Tower inn at 9pm, all those that are free to offer ideas and suggestions to enhance this family are encouraged to attend.

FOROIGE

A group of nearly 30 young people and a number of leaders from the village attened the HYPE youth festival in Longford last Saturday, a great day was had by one and all. The group were amoung thousands of young who attended thsi festival, and all behaved exceptional. The day was full of live music, live DJs from Iradio and other attractions. Timahoe Foroige group will attend the last Foroige disco this coming Friday night in Portlaoise, bus leaves at 6.30pm. That will be our last outing until July 1. Well done to all involved.

WILD WEST NIGHT

Timahoe GAA are holding the annual wild west night on Friday June 22, this is a great club fundraiser and a good social gathering for the club, we look forward to your support.

TIDY TOWNS
