The kids club continues every week in Pairc Mochua, all are welcome to help out. Training continues for both hurling and football teams. Results have not been going our way of late but hopefully as the year goes on and we get more access to our players they will pick up.

TIDY TOWNS

There was some lovely work done on the Timahoe signs and the Rockeries below them, well done. If you’re out for a walk and see litter, feel free to pick same and dump it in the many rubbish bins provided.

LIBRARY

There is a meeting in this coming Thursday May 15 at 4pm in relation to the monastic site in Timahoe, all interested people associations are encouraged to attend.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

First Holy communion in Timahoe is on Saturday May 24 at 11.30am.

FOROIGE

We welcome all the clubs in Laois on May 23 for the annual awards ceremony. We will also be holding a stay awake on that night to raise funds for a trip to Alton Towers in the UK on June 21.

MEDLEY DAY

A reminder that this year’s Medley Day in Timahoe will be held on Sunday, June 29. A day’s outing for all the family, not to be missed.
