Clough ICA

The monthly meeting of Clough ICA will be held in Clough hall on Thursday June 12 at 8pm. Paul O Toole will attend and give a demonstration on window boxes and hanging baskets, all members are asked to attend.

Anti Litter Challenge

First round judging has taken place and Ballacolla are in to the second round. Judging is on going so we need to have the village litter free at all times, papers plastic bottles cigarette butts are the most common litter.

Laois ICA Outing

To Wexford and Waterford staying in Whites Hotel in Wexford from July 8 to July 11. Three nights four days, places still available. Names to Noreen Byrne at 086 8389590.

Tidy Towns

Jackpot on Monday June 2 was €10600 and their was no winner. Jackpot on June 9 will be €10800 tickets, available from Noel Shiel Seames Maher Noreen Byrne Barry Hyland Danny Hanlon Gerry Henry Dan Shiel Clifford Roe Jimmy Hennebery and in Hawthorn and Coach O’Learys. Numbers drawn were 1 6 10 25, all support welcome.

Judging for the National Tidy Town Competition and Laois Federation Competition has commenced since June 1. Please keep your areas clean and tidy.
