Congratulations to Clonaslee College who received the Amber flag on Friday September 12 for promoting Positive Mental Health throughout the past year with the Transition Year class of 2014. One of only two schools in Ireland to receive it. It is a very tough and huge task to complete for such a small school under the guidance of their principal Mrs Noreen Sweeney and their co-ordinator Pamela Cummins. Well done to all involved and keep up the good work.
Congratulation to Clonaslee Tidy Towns who were runner up in the large village category in the Inter Community Litter Challenge 2014. They received a certificate to acknowledge their contribution made through their participation in the Laois Federation of Tidy Towns.
A meeting will be held on Monday September 22 at 8:30 pm in the Community Centre. We invite everyone to attend and put new ideas forward for 2015. We need your help.
