The annual Laois foroige acheivemehts night will be held this coming Friday night May 23 in Timahoe at 8pm. New minister for children and Laois native Charlie Flanagan will be in attendance, as will Mr Sean Campbell of An Foroige. All clubs will display their achievements of the year and then enjoy a disco.

GAA

Kids club continues every week in Pairc Mochua all parents and kids are encouraged to attend.

TIDY TOWNS

Please help keep the village clean and tidy. A lot of work goes into cleaning the village, let’s help it clean.

LIBRARY

A very interesting meeting was held last Thursday in the library in relation the proposed conservation report. All interested parties were in attendance and progress is good. Some interesting things have been discovered about the monastic site and all will be included in the report.

MEDLEY DAY

Medley day is planned for June 29. There will be a number of meetings to follow. Please attebd if you believe you can assist, fresh faces are welcome.
