Timahoe Walk
Irish rugby international Alison Miller will lead off the 13th annual New Year’s Day sponsored walk in Timahoe for the Irish Wheelchair Association. All funds for the IWA’s Slieve Bloom Centre in Portlaoise. Sponsorship cards available from Johnny Dalton. The event will begin on the village green at 1pm. Routes, 6kms & 10kms.
GAA
Timahoe GAA AGM held last Friday. The club discussed the financial situation and also the future development of the club. Officers were elected and the performances of our teams discussed.
TIDY TOWNS
Christmas hampers on sale in Delaney’s & Bergin’s, all funds to help keep the village clean.

The completed report on Timahoe’s Monastic site is due to launch shortly.
FOROIGE
A great night at the Camross Christmas disco last Friday, we shared a bus with the Ratheniska club and had great fun. Thanks to the Camross club for their welcome.
TIMAHOE NS
Christmas carol service on Wednesday Dec 17 at 7.30pm, in St Michaels church. Following the carol service, refreshments and a raffle will be held in the hall. All are welcome.
Festive cheer
An evening of festive cheer will be held in Timahoe Library on Friday, December 19 commencing at 8.30pm. Mulled wine, tea, coffee and festive cheer. Admission €5.
