The game will be played in Portlaoise on the weekend of June 13/14
The Laois senior footballers have found out who they’ll play in the quarter-finals of this year’s Tailteann Cup.
Laois and Down have been drawn to face each other with Laois having home advantage after they won their first two games against Wicklow and London.
The other quarter-finals are as follows:
Fermanagh v Sligo
Offaly v Wexford
Antrim v Wicklow
A win for Laois would see them head to Croke Park for a double-header of semi-final action in the second-tier competition.
Laois last reached the semi-finals in 2024 when they played Antrim before they went on to play this weekend’s opponents Down in the final, but lost out by two points at GAA HQ.
The full fixture details should be confirmed by Monday evening.
