It mightn't have happened in a few years but Clonaslee made up for the absence with a fantastic return of its St Patrick's Day Parade this year.
Veteran RTE broadcaster Eileen Dunne, whose father hails from Laois, was on hand to perform the honour of Grand Marshal on the day.
The spectacle drew great crowds who enjoyed the atmosphere. Denis Byrne was on hand to capture images of the day for the Leinster Express.
