Memorable songs, wonderful dance routines and lots of laughter in store
Beat the November blues this week by taking in Portlaoise Musical Society's glowing production of the 1964 musical classic 'Hello Dolly!' at the Dunamaise Theatre, Portlaoise.
The show opened last Saturday November 19 to a packed audience, and Leinster Express photographer Denis Byrne was on hand to record a snippet of what's in store. The show continues every night at 8pm up to next Saturday November 26.
Hello Dolly! won ten Tony Awards when it opened on Broadway in 1964, including Best Musical, holding that record for 37 years. Tickets are still available, priced €18 / €15 / €12, call Dunamaise Theatre's box office at (057) 8663355.
