The Laois woman who has led the world-famous Ballymaloe House in Cork for many years travelled back to Laois in the lead up to Christmas 2023 to celebrate a fantastic year of achievement with the Laois Taste network of food producers and their guests at the Ballykilcavan Brewery near Stradbally.
Apart from meeting old friends praising the producer, the Cullohill woman urged shoppers all over Ireland to spend a third of their shopping to support their local producers.
