Patients and visitors to Tullamore Hospital were given a surprise last Thursday November 30 when a choir made up of HSE staff began an impromptu concert in the foyer.
The HSE Tullamore Choir burst into song as members gathered in the foyer and the open balconies from the above floors.
They sang a version of 'Fix You' by Coldplay and patients and visitors were said to have been delighted with the musical interlude during their time at the hospital.

One patient remarked: "It made the hospital atmosphere so warm; it was absolutely fantastic."
The choir later performed a remembrance ceremony at the hospital.
