Stradbally man Maurice Deegan was left sprawled on the hallowed turf of Croke Park after being floored in a collision while reffing the Leinster Senior Club Final.
The Laois man was flattened as players from Kilmacud Crokes and The Downs were going for a ball in the second half of the final. An interested onlooker was fellow Laois man Lar Wall who is the manager of The Downs from Westmeath.
Deegan, who is no stranger to Croke Park having reffed man games there including All-Ireland finals, initially appeared stunned but was quick to his feet after the impact. He was able to continue to the end of the game which was won comprehensively by the Dublin champs.
