The festive season got underway in Mountmellick with the turning on of the Christmas lights ahead of a big weekend for the town.
The landmark Christmas tree lights were turned on in O'Connell Square last Friday night ahead of the Late Late Toy Show.
On Saturday, the town hosted a Community and Enterprise Day while on Saturday the annual Christmas fair took place.
