WATCH: Shots fired to kick start the Old Fort Quarter Festival

Lord Edward's Own Re-enactment group marched down Main Street and fired volleys

Lord Edward's Own Re-enactment group marched down Main Street, Portlaoise and fired volleys into the air to signal the beginning of the Old Fort Quarter Festival 2017.

The launch took place on Friday June 23 and the festival is ongoing for June 24 and 25.
