Laois singer songwriter Kean Kavanagh has released a brilliant new video for a new song that features Laois GAA and O'Moore Park and even Portlaoise GAA players.
Starring the tragically comic character Pa Campion, and called A Cowboy Song, watch till the end to pull at the heartstrings. It is the second of a set of three linked songs, the first called The Whistle. They are filmed in Emo, Portlaoise, on Martleys bus with Portlaoise GAA players, and in O'Moore Park.
The son of Niall and Madeleine Kavanagh, Kean’s new release has a melodically dreamy sound hung on an energetic beat.
Indie Soul singer Kean Kavanagh is from Portlaoise but born in Houston, Texas and is influenced by Americana. Now based in London, he will release his much anticipated debut album The County Star on June 6. Preorder The County Star here.
Tickets are on sale for a live album launch at Bellobar in Dublin on June 20, via TicketMaster.
