The finest claret jug to be presented at auction in recent years will be offered for sale at Sheppard's Great Irish Interiors Auction on April 30. Made in 1883, the silver-mounted crystal jug incorporates a likeness of the Goddess of Wine on the handle. Sheppard's say "it is in pristine condition".
