WATCH: 'It's stuck!' Laois schoolkids excited to raise 9th Green Flag

Camross National School's amazing eco flag celebration

A rural Laois primary school has achieved its ninth An Taisce Green Flag for hitting eco friendly targets. 

The honour of raising the flag at Camross National School is traditionally given to the oldest and youngest pupils. Amber Palmer O'Keeffe and Iarlaith Burke were helped by Green Schools Coordinator Ms Cordial to hoist it, but not without a hitch! The ceremony took place on Grandparents Day, June 12, and the Leinster Express / Laois Live was there to capture the excitement.
