Portlaoise stage to host big night of rockin music

Two of the most electrifying bands in Laois are teaming up for a powerhouse night of live music that is sure to blow away the winter cobwebs and usher in spring.

The Live n’ Loud event Portlaoise aims to showcase the Outcast Crew and Vendetta Love. Both bands are promising original material on an unforgettable night of "high-energy rock and raw, unfiltered entertainment".

"Laois Live n’ Loud is set to be an unmissable night of high-octane rock, gritty melodies, and pure musical energy," they told the Leinster Express / Laois Live.

The Outcast Crew blend punk, folk and traditional Irish music. They've been making waves both at home and abroad. The band is set to embark on a 24-date tour across Germany in March, with stops in major cities like Berlin, Frankfurt, Dresden, and Hamburg.

Their latest album, Rovin’ Again (2024), has received widespread acclaim, ranking 7 on the London Celtic Punks’ Top 30 Albums of the Year and earning Album of the Month on the Canadian blog The Mighty Decibel.

Vendetta Love describe themselves as a hard-hitting force in grunge and hard rock, Vendetta Love fuses the anthemic, brooding darkness of Seattle’s grunge scene with the raw energy of LA’s Sunset Strip.

They’ve shared the stage with acts like Airbourne and Poets of the Fall, rocked UK venues in 2024, and wrapped up the summer with headline shows in Whelan’s, Dublin, and Voodoo, Belfast. New singles and more Irish dates are in the pipeline.
