The annual Christmas lights switch on in Durrow will take place on Friday, December 8.

This is an opportunity for all of the community to gather together in the Square for 7pm. Christmas carols will ring out with members of the Vocum Darú Choir and Third Laois Durrow Scouts.

Thanks have been extended to Jim Clancy and members of Durrow Community Services for their huge work over the past few weeks sorting out the lights and hanging them in the trees that surround the greens and streets.
