Ballyfin Demesne 'delighted' with recognition
Laois' Luxury Ballyfin Demesne has retained its Michelin status following this year's annual awards which took place at the Convention Centre in Dublin.
The prestigious Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland Awards was hosted in Ireland for the first time since they began in 1974.
Sharing the news the Laois hotel said: "We're delighted to share that Ballyfin has retained its Michelin recognition. This achievement is thanks to the dedication of our wonderful teams in the kitchen, restaurant, and gardens, along with the support of our trusted suppliers and the continued acknowledgement from Michelin."

Ballyfin Demesne received their first Michelin star last year after earning the new Michelin Key distinction in 2024, earning 'Three Keys' for its impressive service.
Restaurants may receive one to three Michelin stars for the quality of their food based on five criteria: quality of the ingredients used, mastery of flavour and cooking techniques, the personality of the chef in the cuisine, harmony of flavours, and consistency between visits.
