Santa Truck set for Christmas Laois landing in Portlaoise at M7 Plaza

Ryan and Michaela Andrews along with their son Rowan on the Laura Lynn Santa Truck will visit Portlaoise.

Laois families and others making a motorway stop in Portlaoise will get a chance to meet Santa and visit the popular Santa Truck in Portlaoise this Christmas while also supporting LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.

The Santa Truck is decked out into a winter wonderland, complete with lights, music, and festive cheer, while supporting LauraLynn. Families are invited to meet Santa, take photos, come on board and enjoy the spectacle with donations collected for LauraLynn.

Operated by Judge Haulage, the 2025 Christmas tour was launched the help of actors Ryan and Michaela Andrews, along with their son Rowan.

“I am delighted to be supporting the Santa Truck fundraiser this year in aid of LauraLynn, who do incredible work for seriously ill children and their families right across the country,” said Ryan. 

The Santa Truck is scheduled to stop off at the Portlaoise Plaza (off J17 /Togher roundabout on the M7), from 6.30pm to 8pm on Friday, December 19. Santa Truck times and locations are subject to change so the organisers ask that you see the Santa Truck Facebook page here for the most up-to-date schedule.

Laois residents are welcome to come and join the festive cheer, meet Santa and Mrs Claus and support a good cause. Donations for LauraLynn will be collected at each event or online at www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/LauraLynnSantaTruck25

LauraLynn provides specialist palliative care to children from birth to 18 years, offering services such as symptom management, music and play therapy, psychological support, and end-of-life care, all delivered in the hospice, in hospitals, and in family homes across Ireland.
