A man was sent forward to Portlaoise Circuit Court on a money laundering charge.
Franklin Olukoya, 22, of 20 Castlegate Hall, Adamstown, Lucan is charged in relation to the discovery of €10,000 in cash on his person at Portlaoise Garda Station on September 5, 2020.
Garda Keith Hartnett served a book of evidence on the accused at Portlaoise District Court.
Judge Michella Finan assigned Josephine Fitzpatrick and one counsel as legal aid for the case. The man is to appear before the next sittings of Portlaoise Circuit Court on February 7.
