Tom Treacy passed away on Monday
Tributes have poured in following the sad and unexpected death of beloved man Tom Treacy, from Woodbrook, Mountrath, and late of Rathmore, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois.
Tom died on Monday May 6, 2024, unexpectedly at home, and is predeceased by his parents Ger and Peg Treacy, and father-in-law Billy Brophy.
Beloved husband of Edwina, Tom will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends.
Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and remembered Tom, with one mourner writing,
"My sincere condolences to Edwina, Treacy and Brophy families on the sad passing of Tom. He was always a gentleman. Rest In Peace Tom."
Another wrote,
"Very sad to hear of Toms passing he was a lovely man, an old friend. Our heart goes out to Edwina, his wife, at Toms sudden passing. Our condolence to all of the Treacy family and friends. God bless Tom may he rest in piece."
While another wrote,
"Edwina, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Rest in peace, uncle Tom, we know you are in a better place, and one day we shall meet again."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at his home Woodbrook (eircode R32E195) on Thursday evening (May 9) from 5pm, concluding with Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Friday morning (May 10) to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath (eircode R32 EC61), for Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.
Tom’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on www.mountrathparish.ie
House private on Friday morning please.
