Rose Ann Meleady - Mountrath

The death took place on Sunday, September 8 of Rose Ann (Rose) Meleady, (née Redmond), late of Glasnevin and formerly Mountrath, Co. Laois.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff of the Mater Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Frank and loving Mam to Colette, Colum, Judith and Olive.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters and son, grandchildren Aisling, Lauren, Eimear, Rachel, Eoghan, Evgenia and Sofia, great-granddaughter Martha, daughter-in-law Maeve, sons-in-law Gerry and Chris, sisters Sheila and Joan, brother Bernie, sister-in-law Sylvia, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West on Wednesday, September 11 from 3 pm to 5 pm. Funeral on Thursday morning (12th September) to St. Canice’s Church for 11.30am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, in lieu to the Mater Foundation.

John Dunne - Ballylinan

The death took place on Friday, September 6 of John (Sean) Dunne, (Naas and formerly of Ballylinan).

Peacefully after a long illness.

Beloved husband of Mary, loving father of Colin, John and Ursula, loving grandad of Gary, Zoe, Lily-Grace and Megan, brother of Peggy, Martin, Marie and the late Paddy and Eileen.

John will be forever loved and sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law Mary and Angela, son-in-law Brian, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (Eircode W91CD0K) on Monday (9th September) from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary Prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral on Tuesday (10th September) with Requiem Mass at 10am in the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, followed by burial at St Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.
