Tomàs Raftery - Portarlington

The death has occurred of Tomàs Raftery, Whitefields, Portarlington and formerly of Monalea Road, Dublin. Tomàs will be sadly missed and remembered by his beloved wife Ròisìn and his children Conor and Maggie, his mam and dad Maureen and Tomàs, his sisters Màire and Trìona, sisters-in-law Niamh and Paula, brothers-in-law Ted, Enda and Richie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Tomàs is predeceased by his uncle Seàn, auntie Mary, uncle Paddy, auntie Peggie and mother-in-law Margaret.

A Cremation Service will take place on Saturday, February 14 at 1:45pm in The Victorian Chapel Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Ena Campion (née O'Rourke) - Mountrath

The death occurred of Ena Campion (née O'Rourke) Rushin, Mountrath on Thursday, February 12. Ena passed away peacefully in her 99th year, in the loving care of the nursing staff at the Residence Nursing Home Portlaoise and previously at Ballard Lodge Nursing Home Portlaoise.

Predeceased by her husband J.J. Beloved mother of Marie, Jer, Séan, Liam, Tony, Elaine and Freida. Sadly, missed by her loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath eircode R32Y661on Saturday evening,  February 14 from 6pm concluding with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Sunday afternoon,  February 15 to St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown eircode R32KT22, for Requiem Mass at 2pm followed by burial in Camross Cemetery.

Bernadette (Bernie) Kinsella (née O'Gorman) - Laois/Dublin 

The death has occurred of Bernadette (Bernie) Kinsella (née O'Gorman) late of Cabra, Dublin 7, and formerly of Aghaboe, Co. Laois. Bernadette  was predeceased by her beloved husband Tim and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Bernadette will be very sadly missed by her sons Tim, Declan, Canice and daughter Helena, grandchildren Catriona, Aideen, Ciara, Sarah and Craig, daughter in law Margaret, son-in-law Neil, sister Annie, nieces, nephews, extended family , neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 88A New Cabra Road, Cabra on Monday, February 16 from 5pm - 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday 17th in Christ the King Church, Cabra at 10am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.

Late Eugene Lacey - Portlaoise

The death has occurred of Eugene Lacey, Craydon Court Portlaoise and late of Oulart, Co Wexford peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 12.

Beloved husband of Christine and loving father to Thomas and Eoin. Cherished grandfather to Molly, Harry and Annie.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughter-in-law Olivia, Sister Rita Gammell, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephew, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Also missed by his many friends and customers in Lacey Tarmacadam.

Reposing at Keegan's funeral home on Sunday, February 15, from 4 pm until 7 pm, with Rosary at 6.30 pm.

Removal from the funeral home on Monday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul's Church for Requiem Mass at 11 am. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul's cemetery Portlaoise.

Family flowers only. House strictly private.

May he rest in peace.

Marcello Pinna - Portlaoise

The death took place on January 30, 2026 of Marcello Pinna, late of Portlaoise, Co. Laois & formerly of Frosinone, Italy.

Marcello passed suddenly and unexpectedly on 30th January 2026

Beloved father to Claudia, Matteo, Jennifer and Luca, dear friend of Patricia (mother of Claudia), sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters, sons, sister Tina and brother Nino, brother-in-law Umberto, nephews and nieces, grandchildren Nora and Tobias and his close friends Andries, Sharon and family.

A ceremony of celebration of Marcello’s life will take place in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare V14 PV30 on Saturday 14th of February at 2:00pm. All are Welcome
