Deaths in Laois - June 22, 2018

Peadar Sheridan - Portlaoise

The death took place on Wednesday, June 20 of Peadar Sheridan of The Green, Kilminchy, Portlaoise, and formerly St. James Street, Dublin.

Ex CIE and Waverly Ambulances. Peacefully. Beloved husband of Ursula and dearly loved father to Brenda, Terri and Niall. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sons-in-law Fergus Conway and Declan O'Rourke, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandsons, granddaughters, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7pm with rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass at 10am on Saturday morning in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise. Followed by private cremation at Newlands Cross.
 
Pat Miller - Meelick and Timahoe

The death took place on Wednesday, June 20 of Pat Miller of Meelick and formerly Timahoe.

Ex Millers Hardware, Portlaoise. Passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Patsy, daughter Olga, sons Patrick and Ronan, son-in-law Liam, daughters-in-law Nicky and Claire. Grandchildren Ewan, Sarah and Ryan, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends.

Pat will be reposing at his residence from 2pm on Thursday with Recital of the Rosary at 8pm on Thursday evening. Removal on Friday morning at 12.15 am to arrive at Saint Michael’s Church, Timahoe for 1pm Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery. 

John Dunne - Portlaoise 

The death took place on Tuesday, June 19 of John Dunne of “St Christophers”, Ballyfin Rd, Portlaoise.

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen and dearly loved father to Noel, Laurence, Séan, Veronica, Imelda and Mary. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brother Larry and sister Maura, sisters-in-law Maureen and Frances, sons-in-law Dan, Pat, and Niall, daughters-in-law Ita and Ellie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence from 3pm on Thursday with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 10am Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
