ELECTRIC PICNIC: Trailer park line-up revealed in all its mad glory

Electric Picnic has confirmed the line-up for the festival's most ridiculously fun zone, Trailer Park.

The sold-out festival returns to Stradbally this September 1 to 3, and a favourite is Trailer Park, where hilarious repurposed caravans, mobile homes, vans and campers entice passing punters in with all sorts of free interactive craic. 

It is anchored by the  Trailer Park Stage where live music this year will feature: Tan and Sober Gentlemen, Negro Impacto, Clara Tracey, White Horse Guitar Club, Stomptown Brass, Bootleg Beach Boys, Skatuesques, Zaska, Winnie Ama, Melina Malone, The Deadlians, Scustin, New Brass Kings, Luna Boys, Onion Boys, Acid Granny, William the Conquerer, Post Punk Podge, Darnell Cole, Chief Keegan, Montauk Hotel, Shakalak, The Pearly Whites, Inbetween Honey and Code of Behaviour.

The trailers include Yonder,  an psychedelic bus offering fun classes like drag for beginners, blindfold dentistry, lollipop-lady classes, clowning for shy people, inclusivity humming, crap yoga and more.

Ellebanna is  an Ibiza dance intervention where creatures not-of-this-earth emerge from an orb-like lair to writhe and investigate the people who think they are watching a show.

Gangsta Granny is back with its beloved gaggle of razor sharp ladies knitting a coat for a caravan.

Crazy Train -Platform 1 is where you come to spray paint to your hearts content, rotating canvases, pendulum paint and subway train art.

Fashion of Swap  is a clothes exchange and repair clinic, where punters can modify outfits or get a styling consultation.
Picnic Peaks will take you to a place both wonderful and strange. Enter the Black Lodge for fine experiences, surreal meetings, and coffee blacker than night. The Dreaming Summer House is saturated in mystery, mystique and improvised musical and is hosted by Mike and Geri of New Blue Sioux and friends.

TG Ceathaire poses as a TV studio that is broadcasting live reality/game shows to a global audience – but is, in fact, hosted from a bashed-up old caravan by a has-been presenter.  

Weather Karaoke - out with the old and tired format of song-and-music to the exhilarating new world of weather presenting.
Nun of That brings you back to the good auld days of Irish sex education where nuns rule the school.

Lord Ganesh’s Larder is a decorated Indian bus serving chai and views.The Snug invites participants to dress up in old shawls and paddy caps for a 6x4 print.

Caravan Mambo has classic Ibiza house and dance anthems, Terrible Terry  offers The EP Open 2023 nine-hole golf course.
There is Caravanaoke, the Quizivan, the Ceili Kitchen, Redneck Mobile Home, Salvage Yard is a new piano bar with pianist Stephen Ffrench Davis.

My Lovely Horse Rescue returns with pigs, dogs and horses, while Craggy Island gives the Father Ted experience, plus Joe Rooney’s Sunday Mass.
