The Irish Steam Preservation Society CLG is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help make the 2025 edition National Steam Rally an unforgettable event!

Taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend in Stradbally, the Society says this is your chance to play a key role in one of Ireland's most "exciting and unique" events at a venue that also hosts the Electric Picnic.

So why volunteer for the National Steam Rally in Laois

  • Here are the reasons from the Society:
  • Be part of a dynamic team in a vibrant, fun-filled setting.
  • Meet and connect with a wide variety of people who share a passion for history, community, and all things steam and vintage.
  • Enjoy complimentary meals while helping the event run smoothly.
  • Gain valuable experience and create cherished memories.

"This is a voluntary role, but the experience you'll gain is priceless—and you'll play a crucial part in preserving Ireland's rich heritage.
