Portlaoise Main Street at Christmas
Laois County Council has planned temporary closures of Portlaoise’s Main Street over the coming days.
The closures is taking place to facilitate the installation of Christmas lights in the centre of the town.
The Council said the temporary road closure will take place at Main Street from Market Square to the Bridge Street Centre in Portlaoise on or between Monday, November 3 and Thursday, November 6 between 6pm and 10pm.
The works are taking place ahead of the ‘Big Switch On’ of the Christmas lights which is due to take place in Portlaoise later this month.
