June saw more Croke Park heartbreak for the Laois senior hurlers as they were once again beaten in the Joe McDonagh Cup final. The Laois GAA club hurling leagues came to an end too, with Abbeyleix St Lazarian's winning their first-ever ACHL Division 1 title. Laois were also crowned Celtic Challenge Cup champions.
