Portlaoise road closure causing traffic congestion

Traffic is moving slowly on Main Street, Portlaoise today due to a road closure.

The Well Road just off Main Street has been closed to facilitate the upgrade of the electricity supply network in Portlaoise town.

Temporary Traffic Management and Road Diversion arrangements are in place.

Motorists should take an alternative route to avoid delays.
