Gardai are searching for a man who escaped from a Kilkenny Garda station.
He remains at large but gardai said they are satisfied he does not pose an immediate threat to the public.
He had been arrested on Thursday and escaped on Monday evening. He was last seen on Emmet Street shortly after 8pm.
He was being held as part of ongoing criminal investigations.
A number of searches have been carried out at several homes and properties in Co Kilkenny.
A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting an unlawful escape from custody.
He has since been released pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardai thanked members of the local community for their co-operation and assistance during the search.
Investigators are liaising with other national and regional agencies to support their efforts.
