Laois Gardai issue appeal after €5,000 of tools stolen in burglary

The incident occurred at a commercial premises in Durrow

Over 8,000 burglaries in Laois and Offaly in last 10 years

Laois Gardai are appealing for information following the burglary of a commercial premises in Durrow. 

Tools estimated to be worth between €4,000 and €5,000 were stolen during the burglary at Gaeltec Utilities, Durrow Townparks, Durrow.  

The burglary occurred at around 1.30am on the morning of Tuesday, September 16. Gardaí said tools and batteries were stolen from the premises.

They are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 867 4100.
