Light up solstice night hike in aid of mental health charity

Santa Claus has made a video in Laois to invite everyone to take a special walk this Solstice Saturday evening, December 21 in aid of a good local cause.

"Wrap up warm bring big lights and light up the mountain all in aid of SOSAD Laois, in Timahoe- ho-ho," says the big man in red.

He is reminding everyone that Headen's Tower Inn, Timahoe is hosting their Annual winter Solstice walk up Fossey mountain with all funds towards SOSAD Laois.

The lovely charity walk, where everybody holds lights, goes from the village to the top of Fossey Mountain on December 21 at 7.30pm to celebrate the Winter Solstice.

Refreshments will be served at the top of the mountain to all walkers, and back in The Tower Inn in Timahoe village. Donation buckets will be available for anyone wishing to donate with all funds going towards SOSAD Laois.
