Laois locals can avail of a selection of food chains this summer, with a new food hall set to open in Portlaoise.
The Oasis of Taste food hall chain have confirmed with the Leinster Express / Laois Live that a new location will open in Laois Shopping Centre this August.
"A new Oasis of Taste food hall is due to open at Laois Shopping Centre at the beginning of August, and recruitment is currently underway," a representative confirmed.
"We’re excited to bring our unique blend of brands, including O’Briens Sandwich Café, Abrakebabra, and Bagel Factory, to the local community."
Currently, Laois Shopping Centre has an Eddie Rockets, Namo Mexican Burrito Bar, a Costa Coffee and a Rainbow Scoops ice cream stand. The popular Rafters café sadly closed in January 2023.
Hiring is underway for the three new food chains. This will be the food hall's eight location to open in Ireland, with locations in five Dublin shopping centres, City Square Shopping Centre in Waterford, and Scotch Hall Shopping Centre in Drogheda.
