Eamon Dunne - Cappinrush, Ballyfin/ Mountrath

Eamon Dunne, Cappinrush, Ballyfin, and Fr. O’ Connor Crescent, Mountrath. Died October 8, 2023, peacefully at St. Vincent’s Community Nursing Unit Mountmellick, surrounded by his loving family and friends, and in the loving care of nurses and staff of St. Paul’s Ward. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Mary, son Noel, grandchildren Jessica and Alfie, brothers Martin and Jimmy, sisters Mary and Ena, stepsons, stepdaughters, extended family, relatives and friends. May He Rest In Peace

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Tuesday evening from 6 0’Clock, concluding with Rosary at 8 0’Clock. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin, for Requiem Mass at 11 0’Clock, followed by burial in the New Cemetery, Ballyfin.

Eamon’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on www.ballyfinparish.ie

Alan McEvoy - Portlaoise

The death took place on Saturday, October 7 of Alan McEvoy, Buttercup Avenue,  Esker Hills, Portlaoise.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.  Dearly loved partner to Molly and loving father to Calvin. Predeceased by his father Alo and mother Mary and brothers Jimmy and Gerard and nephew Daryl. Loving brother to Peter and Sean,  Eileen, Tina, Imelda, Mary, Linda, Angela and Majella. Deeply regretted by his loving family, mother in law Mary M (Ma), brothers in law, sisters in law, nephew, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home on Monday from 6pm with rosary at 7.30pm.  Removal on Tuesday to SS Peter and Paul's Church for 12 noon requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to charity.
