Carl Adams - Portlaoise
The death has occurred of Carl Christian John Adams of Kilminchy, Portlaoise. Passed away on May 30th 2024. Deeply mourned by his beloved wife Brenda and children Troy, Timothy, Megan and Matthew.
The Thanksgiving Service will take place on the 5th of June at Laois Bible Church, Epworth Hall in Abbelyeix at 10am. A private cremation will take place and the house will remain private on Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th of June.
Carl is sadly missed but so lovingly remembered by his family, friends, neighbours and extended family.

Catherine Farrell-Abbeyleix
The death occurred of Catherine Farrell(née Paisley) of Grallow Wood, Abbeyleix on June 3rd 2024. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. After a short illness borne with dignity and great courage. Dearly loved wife to Rob and adored mother to her heartbroken son Sam, daughter to Rose and the late Christy Paisley (Portlaoise), sister to Noelle Phelan. Deeply regretted by her mother in law Mary and the late Dermot. Sister in law Laura and her husband Ronan. Brother in law Jeff. Nieces , Kate, Carla, and Rachel. Relatives , cousins and former colleagues at The Legal aid Board . May she rest in peace. Reposing at Keegans Funeral home Portlaoise on Thursday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm , with rosary at 7.30pm. Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Pauls Church Portlaoise for 11 am Requiem mass on Friday. Interment will take place afterwards in SS Peter and Pauls Cemetery Portlaoise Family flowers only donations if desired to The Cuisle Centre, Irish Cancer Society or St Brigids Hospice The Curragh. Valarie Townsend- Graiguecullen
The death has occurred of Valerie Townsend (née Byrne) of “Ashlee”, Linkardstown, Tinryland and formerly of Pearse Rd., Graiguecullen, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on June 3th, 2024, at her home.
Beloved wife of Eddie, much loved mother of Cillian, Darragh, Colin and Emmet, cherished sister of Marian, Patricia, Niall, Ronan and the late baby Irene Angela and adored daughter of the late John and Eileen.

Joe Cunneen - Portlaoise
The death has occurred of Joe Cunneen. Rathleague, Portlaoise and formerly Cork City. June 2nd 2024. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the tender care of the dedicated staff at the Beacon Hospital. Beloved husband to Margaret and loving father to David, Stephen and Mary and father-in-law to Clodagh and Gillian. Cherished grandfather to Rebecca, Adam, Zoe, Amy, Eilbhe, Eilís, Aaron, Sean and Julianne. Sadly missed by his loving family. His brother Frank and his wife Joan. Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law. Nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at the family home in Rathleague (R32K8KX) from 3 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday evening, with rosary at 7.30 pm. Lorna Robins - Portarlington
The death has occurred of Lorna Robins Ballymorris Court, Portarlington. Formerly of Millbrook Manor Portarlington County Laois. Lorna passed away on Sunday 2nd June 2024 peacefully after a short illness borne with great courage and dignity surrounded by her loving family, partner and cousin.
Lorna will be deeply missed by her heartbroken dad Edwin, mam Susan, sister Yvona, partner Jer, cousin and special friend Amy, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, work colleagues and friends and her beautiful little dog Rio.

The death has occurred of Una Donoghue (nee Byrne), formerly Hawthorn Drive, Portlaoise and Collins Park, Beaumont, Dublin 9, died June 2nd 2024, peacefully at the Residence Nursing Home, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Peter. Beloved husband of Honoria, much loved father of Melissa, Len and Freddie and adored grandfather of Taylor and Freya. Breda, wife of the late P.J, predeceased by her parents Richard and Brigid, brothers Eddie, Richard and Larry. Sadly missed by her loving sons Paul and Eugene, daughter Dolores. Daughters in law Lucy and Cindy, son in law Pat. Her adored grandchildren Aoife, Katie, Jennifer, Ornagh, Patrick, Martin, Claire and Alanna. The death has occurred of Mary Williams (née Cleary), Knockiel, Rathdowney, R32 E7W0, May 30th. 2024, peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise in her 90th year.
Predeceased by her husband Timmy, sisters Peg, Dinah and Betty, niece Clare and grand niece Anna.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her twin sister Jane, her many much adored nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, extended family and her close neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace
